At Camden Pet Hospital we are committed to providing quality care for pets and their people. Our doctors and professional staff understand the human-animal bond and treat all with genuine caring and compassion.
CURRENT TOPICS The calendar is indicating spring will be here soon even if the temperatures aren't supporting the fact. People and pets are all feeling the effects of "cabin fever". Our pets will be anxious to get outdoors as the weather gets warmer and it is tragic but true that we see more injuries to pets when this happens. Dogs can bolt for freedom and get hit by cars, be injured by other animals or people, or get lost. Cats that have been indoors all winter who are now getting outside will be defending their territory and get in fights will other cats. Our pets will be exposed to more diseases and parasites. While not all mishaps can be prevented, now is the time to be proactive in protecting our furry loved ones. Be sure vaccinations are current. Keep pets under supervision when they are outdoors. Protect against Heartworm and other parasites with monthly preventatives. Be sure our pets are equipped with some form of identification, consider microchipping. We are always grateful for the opportunity to help you with any questions or concerns you may have for your specific situation. Please call and let us know how we can help you keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.
